Edinburg Park and Pool
Early in 2002, the Town of Edinburg accepted the operation, maintenance and upkeep responsibilities of the Park and the Pool located in Edinburg which was previously administrated by the Madison District Recreation Association. Since accepting this responsibility, the Town has established a committee made up of town officials responsible for the overall management and guidance of the Park and the Pool and has made many improvements to the facilities. The Town is committed to continuing the improvements in the coming years as the budget allows. The Town invites you to visit the Park and the Pool to take advantage of the wonderful facilities and also invites you to call or visit the Town Hall with any comments or suggestions.

Edinburg Park
The Edinburg Park consists of 4.75 acres located directly behind the Charterhouse School off Stony Creek Boulevard. The Park is a great place for a weekend picnic, to relax after work, or to enjoy a quiet evening with family and friends and affords a wonderful view of the Massanutten and Blue Ridge Mountains. The Park consists of three shelters, two tennis courts (one of which is lighted), two playgrounds and the Edinburg Pool. A basketball court and a ball field on county property are adjacent to the Park. The Park's shelters can be reserved for private gatherings. Edinburg Pool

The Edinburg Pool is closed for the season. Admission to the pool is: $4 for adults (18 and over), $3 for school age children and $1 for children 4 and under. Season Passes are also available: $125 for an in-town family pass, $140 for an out-of-town family pass, $70 for an in- town individual pass and $80 for an out-of-town individual pass. Pool Parties can be scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM for a fee of $115. Please call the Town Office at 540-984-8521 for more information and scheduling.

The historic 1848 Mill, one of the few mills to survive the burning during the Civil War has been tastefully and creatively adapted to house an area devoted to transportation in the County through the years on the Great Valley Pike (US-11), the Shenandoah River and the nearby railroad. Many additional exhibits have been added to display artifacts that demonstrate the rich local history of this agricultural area.
There are exhibits on the Civil War, as well as on the nation's first Civilian Conservation Camp, which was established just outside Edinburg. The main museum displays are located on the second floor, accessible by elevator and require a small donation fee.
The Museum also includes a 50-seat theater where the film, "The Burning" is shown throughout the day. The film, based on the book by John Heatwole, was prepared expressly for the Edinburg Mill and copies are available there for sale.
The 3rd floor is devoted to period clothing, military uniforms and textiles.
A large museum gift shop is located on the first floor which offers a large variety of items for sale. An additional retail shop is also located in this area.
The lower-level houses Heritage Mill Wines 1848 and the Edinburg Mill Restaurant.
Heritage Mill Wines 1848
 Open in the lower level of the Mill, with an entrance off the patio, is Heritage Mill Wines 1848, selling fine wine & the rest is history! Historically set in the Edinburg Mill, they offer more than just your average wine shop. They offer an experience and the opportunity to take a unique journey through history as you visit the store. Visitors are welcome and one can see how the owners take pride in providing the local community with quality imported and local wines. Heritage Mill Wines' owner, Michael Clem, spent his early years in Edinburg. After graduating from Madison College, he and his wife, Pam, lived in Northern Virginia. Now retired, they are back in the area to stay. Michael has a passion for quality wines and providing a convenient location for the local community and visitors to pick up wines, cheeses, food items and gifts. He invites you to come in, say hello and experience a bit of history while browsing the store.
The shop carries wines from five Virginia vineyards and more are being added each month. Other wines are obtained through importers and other distributors. They carry many varietals and blends, vintage and non-vintage as well as cheeses from an importer/wholesaler that carries hundreds of varieties. The peanuts come from the Peanut Shop of Williamsburg, Virginia. A variety of fresh peanuts is always available. Also on hand is a selection of mustards, sauces, crackers, chocolates, chips, olives, and salami.
When looking for a gift for friends and relatives who enjoy wine, this is where you will find a fine selection of accessory items that will always be appreciated.

The Edinburg Mill Restaurant
Open Thursday-Sunday 11 am to 2 pm for lunch and 4 pm to 8
pm for dinner. Closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Chefs Jason Burns and Dennis Stickley are running the restaurant in the lower level of the building which has outside access from the courtyard inside the flood wall.
